FINE ART PRINTS

To produce fine art photographic prints I use the EPSON 9880 44" wide photographic printer, using EPSON K3 Ultrachrome Archival Pigment-based inksets. The 9880 uses an 8-ink CMYK-based print engine, boasting an extremely wide color gamut. These printers can handle a wide variety of different media from many different manufacturers, using rolls or sheets. I am partial to using EPSON Premium Semigloss and Premium Luster papers, as they are the most versatile papers for any fine art presentation.

The advantage to printing in-house means that colors will always be correct due to constant display calibration and continuous proofing. Many people think that inkjet prints don't last as long as traditional photographs, but this is really quite the misconception. Today's papers and inks have been accelerative tested and proven to last more than 100 years as long as they are protected from ultraviolet light. And a good quality print deserves top-notch presentation!
