Print Information

All prints that I produce are made using Epson archival pigment-based inks and papers. The paper of choice that I use is Epson Premium Semigloss, which has excellent color reproduction and dynamic range.

To make these prints I use both the Epson 7880 24" wide printer, and the Epson 9800 44" wide printer, using Epson K3 Ultrachrome Archival Pigment-based inksets. Each unit uses 8 inks apiece, for wide gamuts and impressive color reproduction. These printers can handle hundreds of different media from many different manufacturers, using rolls or sheets.

The advantage to printing in-house means that colors will always be correct due to constant display calibration and continuous proofing. Many people think that inkjet prints don't last as long as traditional photographs, but this is a misconception. Todays papers and inks have been accelerative tested and proven to last more than 100 years as long as they are protected from ultraviolet light. And a good quality print deserves top-notch presentation!
